What is it important to understand about ADHD?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is not only one of the most researched disorders of our times but possibly one of the most misrepresented.

The common perception of a child who is undisciplined and hyperactive is not all we see in people with ADHD.

There is much more to the diagnosis and it impacts both adults and children, male and female on a daily basis. ADHD occurs in approximately 5-7% of the population worldwide (NHMRC).

Parenting children with ADHD is challenging and research shows that parents of children with ADHD suffer from high levels of stress.

Parental skills and parental involvement have been identified as having a significant impact on outcomes for children with ADHD.

Improved parenting skills to specifically, address ADHD symptoms can improve parental self-efficacy, reduce stress and improve parental well-being.

Since well-being impacts significantly on parenting skills, improving parental well-being is of paramount importance.

This online education/coaching program will address the following aspects of ADHD which will provide you with knowledge and strategies to share with those around you living with ADHD, whether they are parents, students, adults or children.
