Wow, October flew by, didn’t it? (in fact, let’s now talk about how many days to Christmas 😮)
I’ve been busy advocating, educating, and connecting with so many of you—all to make a real impact during ADHD Awareness Month. Since it’s been a whirlwind of events, workshops, and programs, I thought I’d share some highlights with you. It’s a chance to look back at what we’ve accomplished together and feel proud of the progress we’re making.
- ADHD in Schools Workshop for Teachers and EAs
In early October, I launched a new program, The Connected ADHD Classroom, specifically for teachers and education assistants in Australia. I wanted to help educators feel more confident and prepared when supporting students with ADHD in their classrooms. From our first live coaching session to sharing practical strategies, it’s been so rewarding to see teachers get excited about this work. Here’s what one teacher said: “I have really enjoyed the sessions and found them helpful” and “It’s great to have executive functioning explained so well”.
- Individual Parent Coaching and “The Confident ADHD Parent Formula” program
This month, I continue to work with parents who would like more individual support to put new parenting strategies in place. I’m now fully booked for the rest of this year but watch this space for support you can still access. It’s incredible seeing parents (often parent couples) embracing the new knowledge and learn ways to strengthen their relationships with their kids. I will have places available early next year so let me know if you’re interested in individual one to one support.

- Speaking on “Anxiety and ADHD”
I partnered with Strength Heroes to support the whole family and to give a 60-minute talk on “Ten Things to Know about Anxiety.” Many of you joined me to explore common signs, ways to seek help, and how to parent when both anxiety and ADHD are in the mix. This session felt especially meaningful because it’s such a shared experience among parents in our community.
There were other community events I participated in and for this, looking back on all that we did together in October, I feel truly grateful.
Each workshop, each course, and every one-on-one conversation reminded me why I do this work. ADHD Awareness Month may be over, but our journey continues. Every email you send, every story you share, and every question you ask only strengthens this community. Let’s keep making strides together!
What’s Ahead: Getting Ready for the Holidays
The end of the year is just around the corner, and I’m already preparing a special checklist to help you get through the holiday season smoothly. I know how challenging the extra demands of Christmas and summer holidays can have on your families.
Thank you again for being part of this journey. Here’s to all that we achieved in October—and all that’s yet to come!
